Veterinary Assistant – Ashland
Position available as a Veterinary Assistant in an Equine clinic located in Ashland, Virginia. Must be available to work weekends and overnights. Applicant must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be detail oriented, able to multi-task, and a team player in a fast-paced environment. Horse handling experience and general horse knowledge required. Responsibilities include assisting veterinarians in the clinic, administering medications, processing lab work, and monitoring patients. Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Veterinary Assistant – Fredericksburg
Seasonal part time position available as a veterinary assistant in the greater Fredericksburg, Virginia area at a busy equine clinic. Primary duties would be assisting equine veterinarian during farm calls. Position also requires some telework from home. Offering up to 40 hours per week but weekly hours vary seasonally. Horse handling experience and general horse knowledge required. Applicant must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be detail oriented, able to multi-task, and be a team player in a fast paced environment. Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Licensed Veterinary Technician
We are growing and looking for a full Time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. Must be available to work weekends. Applicant must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be detail oriented, able to multi-task, and be a team player in a fast-paced environment. Horse handling experience and general horse knowledge required. Responsibilities include assisting surgeons in the clinic, administering medications, processing lab work, running anesthesia and monitoring hospitalized patients.
