Scheduler
We are looking to add a scheduler position at Woodside Equine Clinic, one of the most trusted equine clinics in Virginia. Main duty is answering calls, scheduling appointments and serving as a liaison between doctors and clients. Applicant must possess a welcoming and friendly telephone voice, have excellent organizational skills, be detail oriented, able to multi-task, provide quality customer service, and be a team player in a fast-paced environment. Computer experience and basic horse knowledge required.
This is a full time position from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Full Time employees are eligible for Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, Paid Time off, Paid Holidays, and Simple IRA.

Licensed Veterinary Technician
We are growing and looking for a Full Time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. Our LVT’s work closely with our team of surgeons, interns, hospital assistants and ambulatory veterinarians to provide exceptional care to both our patients and our clients. Standard schedule is Monday – Friday with a rotational anesthesia on call schedule. We are looking for a driven, hardworking individual that has a passion for working with horses, enjoys working outside, and is excited to learn or grow their anesthesia skills! We are willing to train the right candidate and are fortunate to have a VTS Large Animal Anesthesia technician on our team to provide in depth training on Equine anesthesia. We will consider new graduates as well as applicants currently enrolled in a technician program. Horse handling experience and general horse knowledge required. Responsibilities include assisting surgeons in the clinic for exams and procedures, administering medications, processing lab work, running anesthesia and monitoring hospitalized patients. Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Candidates should hold a current Virginia License or be license eligible.
