Dr. Ashton Moss graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. During veterinary school, Dr. Moss excelled in physiology class and served as a teacher’s assistant to help share his passion for the subject with his fellow classmates. After graduating, he spent his first year of practice at Belmont Racetrack in New York where he expanded his knowledge in sports medicine. The large athletic caseload in Belmont helped to sharpen Dr. Moss’ skills in lameness and wound-management along with general practice. His strongest interests are focused on the equine athlete and their training.
Dr. Moss grew up in Long Island New York and spent many summers at the track. When he wasn’t around horses, he played ice-hockey, volleyball, and tennis. Dr. Moss enjoyed training as an athlete his whole life and, as a result, takes great pride in helping performance horses achieve their goals.
Dr. Ashton Moss currently lives in Fredericksburg Virginia where he is happy finally living near his loved one and her family. When the New York Islanders are not playing, his is free time is spent hiking, playing hockey, and training in the gym.
