Harry
Harry came to Woodside as a kitten in 2022 after being found by one of our assistants in her backyard. He is a feisty little guy whose duties at Woodside include chair warming services in Angie’s office, closely inspecting any boxes or baskets, supervising lab work, and providing adjustments to the printer. He is our only team member on call 24/7 and is always quick to spring into action when there’s a bug that needs to be caught or a coworker who needs help taking inventory of their kitty treats. Harry provides us all with constant entertainment, laughs, and the occasional cuddle (but only if you’re lucky).
Boxter
Boxter moved to Woodside in 2010 and specializes in patient relations. Whether it is moving paddocks to comfort patients, spending time in neighboring stalls in the hospital barn, or teaching horses how to load on trailers when they don’t want to leave Woodside, Boxter is the man for the job. Boxter is now retired from his show career and is enjoying his retirement job at Woodside.
Harley
Harley is a 2008 Thoroughbred mare who trained but never raced. Her racename is Tale Of A Cure and Woodside gave her the barn name Harley for Lee’s love of the motorcycle! Harley works in stallion relations and is always available to receive treats and attention! She and Boxter enjoy spending time out in the field together during their time off from work.
Venus
Venus is a 2001 warmblood mare who arrived at Woodside in 2010 after a bone cyst in her shoulder and other lamenesses prematurely ended her showing career. The first horse you see when you pull into the clinic, Venus mostly spends her days out grazing in her pasture or in her stall in front of a fan. When she is called to action, Venus teaches new assistants, veterinary students, and our interns a variety of skills and donates blood to patients in the hospital. She has a mareish personality, but don’t let her pinned ears fool you, Venus is secretly a huge cuddle bug and loves scratches and peppermints!
