Meet our Woodside Equine Clinic Support Staff
Debbie grew up in Chesterfield County, began riding at nine and competed in local hunter and dressage shows. Debbie joined Woodside in January 2004. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her husband Bill, her dog Max, and taking trips to the beach.
Karen grew up in Michigan and has been a lifelong rider. She has lived in Richmond for 20 years with her husband Mike, two daughters and dog Elway. She has been at Woodside since 1999 and shows in the local hunter jumper circuit in her spare time.
Lee was born and raised in Richmond, VA. After serving with the Army in Vietnam, he returned to the Richmond area. He has been at Woodside since 2003. Lee enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons and four grandchildren. He also enjoys riding horses and his Harley.
Linda was born in New York and worked in the racing scene, living in Kentucky and traveling to Florida and California for sales. She settled in Virginia and has been with Woodside since 2008. She boards horses, Milton the burro, pigs Hazel and Charlotte as well as her dog Libbie at her small farm and also makes jewelry.
Cara grew up in Mechanicsville, VA. After graduating from Virginia Tech, she apprenticed with a USDF Gold Medalist dressage trainer and joined Woodside in 2017. Cara enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh, and their two dogs, Mako and Lane.
Shelly was a “military brat” and grew up riding in Georgia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. She spends her free time with her husband, five kids, and their dogs, Hokie and Buddy. Their family has season tickets to VA Tech football, where their youngest will be going next year.
