Terri
Scheduler
Terri grew up in the pet care industry, starting with a family-run boarding facility in Charlottesville in 1992 up until moving out of the area in 2004. She had been in small animal veterinary medicine for over 13 years prior to joining WEC in July 2018. Terri lives in Caroline with her husband, Stuart, and their Irish Wolfhound, Halo.
Kayley W.
Scheduler
Kayley was born and raised in Richmond, VA. She enjoyed working in the clinical laboratory industry before moving into small and large animal care. Over the past couple years, Kayley has spent time volunteering at Virginia Equine Welfare Society (VEWS) a 501(c)(3) non-profit horse rescue located in Hanover County, Virginia. In 2021 after having a lifelong love for Thoroughbreds she adopted her first horse – Brody, who is from an off-the-track rescue in Maryland. With some more training they hope to begin competing in the local hunter/jumper circuit. Outside of work and the barn Kayley enjoys being at home with her two dogs Cooper and Janice.

Angie
Accounting Manager
Angie is the one you’ll find out in the medicine barn at the end of her work day, passing out love and well wishes to the inpatients.
In her youth, she had that classic animal lover’s dream of being a veterinarian, but after working in a small animal practice, realized she was just too soft natured to be good at it. Instead, she got good at business accounting and after many years of working in CPA firms, has found her “happy place” at Woodside serving and supporting the amazing medical team that she calls her super heroes. Outside of Woodside, she’s a guitar playing music fanatic that loves spending time with her son and dog, camping, bike riding, kayaking, and doing crafts or reading.

Karen
Accounts Receivable
Karen was born and raised in Palm Beach County, Florida and has been around horses (read: obsessed with) since she was seven. In 2019, she and her husband packed up the horse and cats and relocated to Virginia to be closer to family (and to get a break from the Florida heat!). When not in the office, Karen is either at the barn spending time with her horse, hiking our state parks with her husband, or at home with her cats, reading, sewing or painting.
